EUROPE CALLING SARAH…

Well guys I am saying goodbye for 5 weeks & heading on my first trip to Europe. It was a hard decision to make to leave MZ for that amount of time, but it’s now or never! I will be away from Wed 20th Aug – 24th September (School Holidays), so I will miss 4 weeks of MZ. I will be back for the start of term 4.

Classes however will run as usual. There will be only a couple of time changes for Kyneton & Tuesday TOT’s which can be viewed on attached timetable. Every other class will stay the same & some will gain some African classes!!

It is very Important at this time of year that if you plan on doing concert, you must try & attend every single class. Steph & I have been busy choreographing routines & it will make it very hard for classes to be ready in time if not all students attend each week. All classes while I’m away will be working on their routines for concert.

MZ STREET BUSKING

mz street busking

On Saturday July 12 MZ dances and Ryu Ken Ku martial artists came together for our first busk in the streets of Castlemaine.

It was cold, a little windy, there were not a lot of people about and lots went wrong, however it was still lots of fun. Enough people stopped to watch to make it worth wild, friends and family also came around to lend support, and posters for 2 the xtreme were handed out to passers by.

Not sure when the next one will be, but we hope to have a PA so the music can be heard by all, and the times will change to when hopefully it’s a bit warmer and there are more people on the streets.

My only regret is that I didn't get a photo with Macka, he was so impressed with my martial arts ability but due to prior committments couldn't stop to pose for a shot, or may be do some moves with me on the battle ground. Macka, I just want to say don't be discouraged, theres always next time.
